Most "ultralight" race poles on the market still sit between 140g and 175g a pole. The SkyRunner RaceDay starts at 108g — light enough to forget you're carrying it, and among the lightest folding poles you can buy that still pack down small enough for a hydration vest pocket.
Every pair is hand-built in Great Britain from 100% carbon fibre and finished with a tungsten carbide tip for grip on wet rock and loose scree. Our NEO system tucks the tension cord inside the top section of the pole, so there's nothing to snag on a glove, a sleeve, or a gate at 3am on a UTMB climb.
The ergonomic foam grip and airflow wrist strap are built to stay comfortable over 100 miles, not just 10. Fold them down to four sections (three on the 100–105cm lengths) and they disappear into your pack until the next climb.

Incredibly light, but still incredibly solid
I was looking for a pair of poles that I could use for long ultras without feeling like I was carrying extra weight. The SkyRunner RaceDay are exactly that. They feel ridiculously light in your hands, but as soon as you put pressure through them on a steep climb, they feel incredibly stiff and responsive. They’ve become an essential part of my race kit. I wouldn’t go back to heavier poles.

The first thing you notice is just how light these poles are. After several hours on the trail, that really starts to matter. They have a lovely balance between being lightweight and feeling strong when you need to lean on them. I’ve used them on steep climbs, rocky descents and wet trails and they’ve performed brilliantly.
