Why the SkyRunner Ultra RaceDay is regarded as the top trail running and ultra running pole for 2025 and will be the top pole for 2026

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Arthur Joyeux Bouillion (Mountain King x On Trail Running) winner of the UTMB Val D’Aran 2025. ‘For me having the lightest but also strongest poles is really important, I don’t want to every think they might fail on me, the pole were perfect on the long climbs, with no flex when I pushed with them, I also used them going down the climbs with not worry ahaha, but for me when I race I want the top pieces of equipment and Mountain King has always made the best poles, also with the NEO top I found this was really comfortable and helped me focus on the racing as the string wasn’t dangling, this is why I have used Mountain King since 2019 and will continue for every with them! Thank you team!’

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I’ve been using the SkyRunner RaceDay poles for a few ultra-mountain events now, and honestly they’re perfect. They strike the ideal balance of ultra-lightweight without feeling fragile. The carbon shaft is stiff and responsive, giving great push on the ascents, and the grips are comfortable even when damp. Folded down, they pack away super neatly and are easy to rig to my pack. If you want performance without compromise, these are the poles to go for.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (RaceDay NEO)
One of the best upgrades I’ve made to my trail kit. The RaceDay poles save energy uphill, feel rock solid downhill, and handle technical terrain without flexing too much. The tips grip well on scree = no slipping. Superb build quality all around — especially given how light they are. I ran with them in wet and muddy conditions and they cleaned up beautifully. 5/5 — I’d buy them again in a heartbeat.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (RaceDay NEO)
Absolutely outstanding — every detail has been thought through. From the locking mechanism (secure, no rattles) to the strap system, these are built for race day and beyond. They feel instantly familiar, and the feedback underfoot is incredibly precise. I’d say they outperform many expensive poles I’ve tried. If you’re serious about trail running or ultrarunning, these are a no-brainer.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
“RaceDay worthy” is no hyperbole. The SkyRunner RaceDay poles have given me confidence in sections of trail I used to dread: steep, loose, rocky terrain where stability matters (Used them at the 2025 UTMB CCC). They pack away compact, handle harsh conditions, and feel super durable despite their feather-lite weight. I’ve put them through a full season already — still look and feel as new. Without hesitation: a full 5 out of 5.
