Step 1: Remove the End Cap

Once the cap is loosened, carefully remove and keep in a safe place as you will need it later.
Step 2: Remove the Expander Unit
Next, you will need to unscrew and remove the expander unit itself. The expander unit should be easily accessible after removing the end cap. Grasp the expander firmly and twist it counterclockwise to unscrew it from the pole.

Step 3: Install the New Expander Unit
